_Taking a bus from the Banqiao MRT station to get to this restaurant turned out to be not really worth it. The Korean restaurant has a big cafeteria feel with high ceilings. It is nice that they have so many pictures of their food outside on a huge paper standup, inside on one of the walls, and throughout the whole menu because nothing is in English, only Chinese.
We ordered the seafood pancake, bibimbap, Korean BBQ noodles with meat, and Korean seafood black noodles. None of them were that good; just blah. At first I thought the seafood pancake was good because it had a nice fried crispy exterior, but on my second piece I distinctly tasted the dense floury taste that was too brick-like. The bibimbap was slightly mixed with Taiwanese style which made it taste just OK. The seafood black noodles were cooked too much creating an unpleasant sogginess and the flavor of the dish was just blah so it wouldn't have mattered even if the noodles were cooked correctly. The BBQ noodles with meat was pretty good. It had that sweet Korean meat taste, but there still wasn't enough flavor to stand alone without having to add hot sauce to make it taste better.
It was nice how they had a lot of different vegetarian little sides at the counter to choose from whenever you wanted, instead of having to ask for them. Most places don't have that many side dish options either. Some of the side dishes were yummy. However, overall the restaurant was a disappointment.
