Their burgers are comparable to American burgers, and they have some unique burger creations of their own as well. The option to have ciabatta bread with your burger is an up-scale touch which is very rarely seen at other Taipei burger joints. In my opinion, they have the best (yes, I'm saying the best) burgers in Taipei in the affordable price-ranged restaurant category.

Gordon Biersch offers a top shelf American hamburger without all the frills and gimmicks, just a basic, really good American burger. You can taste the quality of the beef in the burger. This is one of the few places in Taipei where they ask you how you want your beef patty cooked and actually cook it correctly. I ordered my beef patty rare and that's exactly what I got.
