Everything about Notch咖啡 is exquisite: coffee, unique decor, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and qualified staff. Their coffee has more espresso shots per cup than most places: 4 shots in a large cappuccino and 3 in a large latte. Their coffee is strong and smooth at the same time.

Oven Coffee serves a more powerful and bitter espresso based coffee than other cafes and shops. They have some of the cheapest prices per cup in Taipei. They also have delicious thick milkshakes and a mocha slushy that's better than Starbucks' mocha Crappusugaro.

They slow roast their coffee beans daily to ensure potency of taste, which results in powerful, tasty coffee beverages. Most espresso based coffee shops don't make their beverages as powerful and bitter as Cama. Their baristas are well trained, making their level of consistency impeccable. So far, I have not found coffee this good anywhere in Taipei for only NT$60 a cup.

Barista Coffee offers some of the best American-style coffee that I've ever had. They put more espresso in their espresso to milk ratio, giving their coffee more power and flavor. The Barista (Strong Latte) has double the amount of espresso shots as their normal latte for the same price. This is where to go when you want a large cup of coffee that is a little stronger than most major coffee chains.

The best place to go in Taipei for quality black coffee produced from the finest locations in the world and imported to Taipei. These fine beans are then brewed to their own precise specifications for each regional bean under an exact chemistry-like process so there is no loss in quality. Most coffee places don't take the time to develop this skill; George House is as professional as it gets.

Like George House, Chamber Cafe has excellent black coffee: quality beans brewed professionally. Unlike George House, Chamber Cafe has a much, much smaller selection and only coffee beans from South America as apposed to the whole world, at least that was the case when I visited. However, the decor of Chamber Cafe is exquisitely unique.
