Bonjour has some French classics and delicious unique items that other bread shops don't have. From what I've experienced, they have the only authentic western cinnamon roll in Taipei: sugar frosting, proper texture of the bread, and a generous amount of cinnamon in every layer of the roll.

Miss V Bakery makes the best cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting that I've had in Taipei so far. It's an American-style cinnamon roll minus the high sweetness level. Their delicious cream cheese topping makes up for the loss of sweetness. They also have one of the best American-style (rich and creamy) cheesecakes I've had in Taipei. They have other delicious bakery goods and are always coming up with new ideas.

The best milkshakes in Taiwan! They are well proportioned, delicious, and contain quality ingredients, all at an affordable price in Taiwan. They have other desserts such as smoothies, icees, sundaes, an ice cream float, and a banana split. I've only tried their milkshakes, but I'm almost certain that all their desserts are delicious because all their food is stellar (I'll update next time I have tried them).

The best Taiwanese-style waffles (hard waffles) that I've had in Taipei. Their waffles come with a generous amount of delicious toppings. Try Taiwanese-style waffles at Coffee Alley before you completely write them off as a dining option.

Some of the best western-style waffles in Taipei; not hard like the Taiwanese-style. They also give you a pretty good amount of toppings to add onto your waffle unlike other places in Taipei. This is one of the very few place in Taipei that offers a quality western waffle.

It's OK ☆☆☆ (but I recommend their ribs, desserts, & appetizers)

Where Chili's might fail in most of their main dishes, they completely make up for with their desserts. They have some of the best decadently sweet and rich American desserts in Taipei.

Black as Chocolate makes a high quality western cake. This shop would be popular in Western countries as well. It could be compared to some of the best cake shops in Western countries and you can get it right here in Taipei.
